Nisa Nashrah, Ph.D., is a junior lecturer in the Department of Physics at Universitas Indonesia since 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) in 2016 and completed her Ph.D. in materials science at Yeungnam University in 2022. Her doctoral research focused on surface-driven matter especially tailoring microstructure and electronic properties of metal oxide films with nanoparticles. During PhD study, she worked as a research assistant, collaborating on projects with major companies like POSCO Steel. Afterward, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship, where she awarded a prestigious national research grant from the National Research Foundation of South Korea.
Her research interests span several areas in material science, including surface science & coating, lightweight alloy & its corrosion properties, and metal oxide-based catalyst for environmental remediation.
