Bio Imaging Physics

As a part of BNT Research Group, BioImPhys performs a collaborative research to produce new knowledge and innovation in solving the current and future problems in life sciences and health. BioImPhys performs cutting-edge research and education in imaging science to advance the fundamental understanding of physical phenomena leading to new innovative imaging principles and revolutionary imaging instruments. BioImPhys invent and realize image-based measurement principles and instruments based on computational imaging in nanoscopy, bio imaging and biomedical imaging. BioImPhys develop methods and image processing algorithms to study fundamental questions in life sciences and achieve differential diagnosis in healthcare.

Current Research

  • Developing analytical imaging instrument for antimicrobial effectiveness measurement
  • Developing analytical imaging instrument for nano-particle biosynthesis characterization
  • Developing a hyperspectral imaging instrument system for food and food products quality assessment and smoker diagnosis
