Januar Widakdo

 

 

Januar Widakdo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2021, focusing on carbon material science and technology. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his Master’s degree in Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2017 and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in 2015. Dr. Widakdo has held significant positions, including his current role as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Universitas Indonesia. He has contributed to cutting-edge research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Universitas Gadjah Mada and the Advanced Membrane Materials Research Center at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Notably, Dr. Widakdo’s outstanding achievements include winning the 2022 R&D World – Product award for his innovative work on the Black Magic Carpet for Water and Power Production (BMC-WP) in the Process/Prototyping category. Additionally, he received special mention from Carbon Journal, Elsevier, for his exceptional Ph.D. thesis in carbon material science and technology in 2022.
